Yesterday a young man told me that he preaches the gospel every day. I asked him, "Which gospel are you preaching?" He said, the pentecostal gospel. I opened my bible and showed him the bible verse written above.
I then showed him the gospel that the Apostle Paul himself received and preached - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.1-4)." and gave him my card which reads, Have you heard the good news? "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.1-4)."
I explained to him, as I did to many that day, that the gospel has been replaced by man's 'plan of salvation', which can't be preached without a pulpit. But that the gospel can be preached by anyone and has the power to save (See SAVED! on www.preach-the-gopsel.org) every one that believes when we preach it to them in person with our mouth (Rom 1.16, 1 Cor 1.21 & Eph 6.19). Then I challenged the young man to preach the gospel the Apostle Paul himself preached (1 Cor 15.1-4) and consider what I told him.
The USA is in a gross state of corruption because the gospel is not being preached as it ought to be. Every believer can and should preach the gospel. Christ commands us to - "Preach the gospel (Mk 16.15).", not present the 'plan of salvation' whereby we must show another that they are a sinner and have them say a prayer of salvation. The scriptures used to support man's 'plan of salvation' are taken out of proper context and/or misinterpreted (See THE SINNER'S PRAYER on www.preach-the-gospel.org).
Ask others if they have heard the good news and tell them (preach) - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.3-4). " and teach them that believe to preach the gospel as well. This is the gospel the Apostle Paul himself received and preached (1 Cor 15.3-4) and it saves every one that believes when told to them in person with our mouth (Rom 1.16 & Eph 6.19).
Which gospel are you preaching (Gal 1.8-9)?
