Our nation lies in wickedness because the gospel is not being preached as it ought to be. Moral decay has brought and economic crisis that the best and most educated minds can't solve (Read THE ECONOMIC CRISIS on www.preach-the-gospel.org.). Let's turn our nation right-side up by preaching the gospel and teaching others to preach it.
The root of unrighteousness is sin, and the only way to get rid of sin is by preaching the gospel and teaching others to preach it. According to the Apostle Paul what matter most is a new creature. Every person must be born again and this happens through preaching the gospel that - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.1-4)." - This is the gospel the Apostle Paul received and preached. the gospel according to the scriptures. He wrote, "I have begotten you through the gospel (1 Cor 4.15) and "I am not ashamed of the gospel for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes (Rom 1.16).
Preaching the gospel to another gives them the chance to believe on Christ and be saved (Jn 3.36 & 6.47 and Acts 16.31). Preaching means telling another in person with our mouth (1 Cor 1.21 & Eph 6.19). When christians begin proclaiming the gospel to others daily as they go, and teaching them that believe to do the same (Mt 28.20) it won't be long before we see our nation turned right-side up. We will become "One Nation Under God" as our pledge of allegiance states. Righteousness will then exalt our nation in place of the moral degradation we now have in our nation.
We must reverse the tide of unrighteousness in our nation before it destroys us. Daily ask others if they have heard the good news or say "good news." Then tell them (preach) - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day.", teaching them that believe to preach the gospel as well. Then righteousness will prevail and we will be "One Nation Under God."
